If appropriate Clients must comply with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 (CDM)

We can act as your CDM Co-ordinator and will be responsible for co-ordinating the health and safety aspects of design and ensuring the pre-tender health and safety plan and the actual health and safety file is prepared according to the CDM regulations.

These include

• notification of projects to the Health and Safety Executive

• ensuring co-operation between designers

• ensuring designers comply with their duties

• preparation of the pre-tender health and safety plan

• advising on the competence of the designer’s design and whether they are adequately resourced to carry out their health and safety responsibilities

• advising on the competence of the contractor’s construction health and safety plan

• preparation of the health and safety file
