If appropriate Clients must comply with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 (CDM)
We can act as your CDM Co-ordinator and will be responsible for co-ordinating the health and safety aspects of design and ensuring the pre-tender health and safety plan and the actual health and safety file is prepared according to the CDM regulations.
These include
- notification of projects to the Health and Safety Executive
- ensuring co-operation between designers
- ensuring designers comply with their duties
- preparation of the pre-tender health and safety plan
- advising on the competence of the designer’s design and whether they are adequately resourced to carry out their health and safety responsibilities
- advising on the competence of the contractor’s construction health and safety plan
- preparation of the health and safety file
