Education:
The Practice has a long history of involvement with education projects ranging from pre-school to universities, new builds to refurbishment of listed Victorian village schools and currently has a Partnering Agreement with Hampshire County Council.
Residential:
We have considerable experience in this field (both refurbishment and new build) especially from our close links with established and internationally renowned Architects.
Commercial/Industrial:
Our Clients include British Telecommunications, British-American Tobacco, BBC World Service, Fortis Insurance, Basepoint, DMV (News International) and Autoliv Limited. Commercial projects have included both speculative and owner occupied premises ranging up to 12500m² of floor area. We currently have a Framework Agreement with Johnson Controls Limited in connection with IBM sites in the United Kingdom/Ireland and Nordic regions.
Retail:
Our organisation has acquired expertise across a wide range of retail projects. These include various superstores throughout the Midlands and South of England, banking halls, factory shopping village at Street, new and existing shop units for C&J Clark, multi-unit and retail developments for Scottish Widows Pension Fund and property maintenance management for Powerhouse Retail.
Arts:
Our involvement in numerous highly successful arts projects ranges from the Visitors Centre at Nymans Garden for the National Trust to the Sackler Library and Chinese Painting Gallery at the Ashmolean Library for Oxford University and the National Maritime Museum.
Leisure:
Commissions have been received for public house refurbishments, restaurants, theme bars, sports centres, golf clubs, marina developments and hotels including the £12 million refurbishment of the De Vere Cavendish St James's Hotel in Jermyn Street, London and £20 million refurbishment of Le Poussin Hotel at Parkhill in the New Forest.
Conservation/Restoration:
This is a growing sector of our portfolio as the importance of conservation and restoration of older buildings is now widely acknowledged.
