New Country House, near Winchester,
Hampshire
A new country house built on virgin farmland in Hampshire. Principal façades in stone with lead/slate roof over; family and staff accommodation with brick elevations and stone features; high quality finishes throughout. 15,000 square feet of accommodation includes 10 bedrooms, a series of state rooms, a family wing and a farm office.
The project was undertaken as a Management Contract, with packages of work tendered via the management contract as the work progressed; a robust cost plan was established at the outset against which tendered packages were monitored.
Accompanying the house is a new, 50-acre landscape.
