Dorset House on banks of chalk stream,
Dorset
A new country house located by the riverside on the site of a demolished mansion.
Substantial single storey house to suit the particular needs of the client. Built of local stone and stucco render with natural slate roof; high quality internal finishes throughout including hardwood panelling; stone and timber floors, hardwood panelling and fibrous plasterwork.
The project was let in two stages; initially a shell contract was tendered and a fit-out package negotiated once the internal design had been completed. Landscaping is provided around the house by Francois Goffinet.
