Whiteley Village,
Surrey
Whiteley Village, a self contained retirement community, was constructed just after the First World War thanks to a bequest by the founder of Whiteley’s Department Store. The Village is set in grounds of approximately 240 acres and comprises some 260 residential units of mixed accommodation with care centre, two churches, shops and general amenities.
Over many years there has been a rolling programme of modernising the cottages and amenities and building new sheltered accommodation.
SelwayJoyce are involved with the Village as quantity surveyors and Employer’s Agent.
