Project Horizon: Remodelling and refurbishment of approximately 20,000m² of existing buildings to re-form the Group Research and Development centre comprising laboratories, manufacturing and testing areas, offices, restaurant and gym together with major rationalisation of site services and infrastructure works. This represents a significant investment in BAT’s future R&D concentrating on the development of less harmful tobacco products.
Project Carmen: Rationalisation of site infrastructure services and demolition of approximately 18,000m² of existing buildings footprint to provide 11 acre development site for freehold sale.
