Directors and associates
Christopher Hore and Ian McCoy, joined The Selway Joyce Partnership in 1987 and both became Partners in 1999, assuming sole responsibility for the Partnership in July 2010.
In July 2011 the Partnership incorporated into a limited company at which time Christopher Willson, Nicholas Tarrier and Stephen Anstis joined the board and Iain Mason became Associate Director in the Epsom office.
Christopher Hore BSc MRICS

Practice involvement: Policy, practice development and management.
Technical expertise: Quantity surveyor, employers agent and project co-ordinator involving development appraisals, feasibility studies, cost planning, traditional and bespoke contract procurement and implementation, dispute resolution and expert witness on a range of new build and refurbishment education (from nurseries to universities), commercial, industrial, residential and leisure projects.
Ian McCoy BSc MRICS
Director, Chartered Quantity Surveyor, and Member of the RICS.
Practice involvement: Policy, practice development and management.
Technical expertise: Employer’s agent, project co-ordination, cost planning/feasibility advice. Procurement advice, dispute resolution with particular expertise for high quality residential schemes, new build and refurbishment, conservation projects, commercial/industrial new build and refurbishment, gallery and archive facilities.
Stephen Anstis BSc MRICS
Director, Chartered Quantity Surveyor, and Member of the RICS.
Practice involvement: Primarily commercial and industrial projects with blue chip clients on repeat business commissions.
Technical expertise: Steve’s experience is particularly diverse, providing quantity surveying, employer’s agent and project management services across a whole spectrum of projects. Steve also has extensive experience of applying traditional skills to more specialised projects such as golf course construction, shop fitting, materials handling, laboratories and works to listed buildings.
Nicholas Tarrier BSc(Hons) MRICS IHBC
Director, Chartered Quantity Surveyor, and Member of the RICS.
Practice involvement: Team leader, especially for high quality residential projects and historic building conservation and restoration schemes.
Technical expertise: Cost planning/feasibility advice/project risk analysis and management, historic building works cost planning and procurement advice.
Professional interests: Member of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation and South Branch Hampshire Representative, committee member of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (Hampshire Group).
Christopher Willson BSc FRICS
Director, Chartered Quantity Surveyor, and Fellow of the RICS.
Practice Involvement: Team leader, especially for residential, and education/local authority projects.
Technical expertise: IT Manager.
Professional interests: Committee member of the Wessex CPD Club which is responsible for arranging technical meetings of all RICS Faculty groups.
Iain Mason BSc(Hons) PGCert MRICS MCIOB.
Associate Director, Chartered Builder, Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Practice involvement: Team leader, especially for residential, trusts, commercial and private clients.
Technical expertise: Project manager, employer’s agent, quantity surveyor and cost consultant.
Professional interests: Iain is an RICS APC Assessor (project management & quantity surveying).
